Why we exist

High Tide Studios was founded on a simple belief: every story deserves to be told well — and almost every person has one worth hearing.

Justin Caffrey established the studio after years spent behind microphones, cameras and conversations that mattered. Terry Loughran, who leads the studio today, spent decades on the other side of the camera — as a cameraman, technical director and audio specialist — learning that the best productions are built on trust, not just equipment.

They had both seen what happens when production moves faster than the story — rushed sets, under-resourced setups, good conversations that never quite landed. High Tide is the studio they wished had existed earlier.

That's still how we work. Before a camera rolls, we ask questions. We take the time to understand the person, the business or the story in front of us, because the right questions produce better answers than the right lighting ever will.

This is not a content factory.

It's a place to find your voice, shape your story and leave with something that sounds and feels exactly like you — precise without being clinical, creative without being performative and human without being casual.
